This role involves maintaining and repairing conveyor belts, refrigeration units, and other essential factory equipment. TIG welding skills are also required. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on conveyor belts, refrigeration units, and another factory equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
- Conduct TIG welding and other necessary fabrication work as required
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety regulations in a food production environment
- Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot equipment failures and implement long-term solutions
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report any major issues to management
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in meat production
- Strong knowledge of conveyor belt systems, refrigeration units, and general factory machinery
- TIG welding skills and experience in fabrication
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards in a production environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
